Kirsten Maxwell is New York native, turned nomadic singer/songwriter. Often compared to artists like Eva Cassidy and Joni Mitchell, Maxwell is known for her vocal agility. Her vast repertoire, which includes everything from folk classics to jazz standards, is only a compliment to her award winning original songs. Maxwell has released an album and an EP, embarked on six self made tours around the US, and opened for Melissa Etheridge, Tanya Tucker, The Bacon Brothers, and Robert Klein.

She was last seen touring with legendary singer/songwriter Judy Collins.
