Johnny is the original inspiration behind the Koolhead Blues Band since the late 1970's, playing hundreds of clubs, the college circuit, and music festivals in the US and abroad. A consummate entertainer, blues guitarist, composer, and session player, Johnny's energy and soulful approach to ensemble playing has given him the title of "Mr. Sit In".
