The Meadows Brothers

This is the stuff I grew up on; good guitar playing, harmonica, a little steel guitar action, like a train moving down the track. It keeps you grounded, reminds you of where you started this journey, let’s you go back to those early days when singer songwriters ruled the day. These brothers are the real deal.

The Meadows Brothers' distinct brand of roots music combines folk, blues, country and rock 'n' roll into what the Boston Globe calls “An engagingly twangy sibling sound all their own.” Ian and Dustin Meadows are the Meadows Brothers. They share that essential brother-band DNA: a telepathic tightness, the ability to stop and start vocal phrases in lockstep, to fall effortlessly into close harmonies, trade off phrases and navigate together the fresh expression of American roots music they create. Their latest release, “TRUTH”, demonstrates the brothers' keen ability to get to the heart of the matter with simple melodies, blood harmonies, unsweetened songwriting, expressive guitars and blues tinged harp. In 2019 The Meadows Brothers are keeping the wheels rollin’. “We’ll be driving around, playing shows, writing songs, seeing the sights, and working on another record. What else would we be doing?”
